The third oldest of seven children, I grew up in Metro Detroit, which is still home to all of my siblings. Almost two years ago, I became an auntie to the cutest little nephew ever, and I got my first niece last fall! I enjoy traveling, podcasts, games, baking, reading, hiking, being cozy, and spending time with friends and family. 

The last few years have held many changes, moves, and transitions. Through it all, my constants have been dentistry, my cat, my plants, and my yoga practice. 

Providing the best possible care for my patients, pet, and plants helps me to do the same for myself. The daily ritual of care for self and others keeps me mindfully aware that growth is life-long and allows me to find joy in the process. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, "you learn by living." 

Having a yoga practice has helped me personally and professionally by undoing musculoskeletal strain and by illuminating my conceptualization of a "practice". Yoga has helped me find balance and comfort at work, at home, and in my head. 

Current hobbies include: planning a trip to Spain, listening to Game of Thrones like a podcast, and exploring hikes and bites in the Lexington area.
